Short description
The aim of the course is to familiarize with the basic ideas in the electronics and use them to build simple circuits based on a microcontroller (eg. Arduino).
Classes (28h) are divided into three parts:
- Basic electronic knowledge (10h)
- Working with Arduino (10h)
- Working with projects (8h)
During the classes you will learn
- about the basic physical concepts used in electronics.
- about the basic elements used in electronics (such as a resistor, capacitor, transistor).
- how to build a simple system based on a microcontroller.
- how to use additional components (such as sensors, servos, displays).
The prerequisites
Knowledge about programming in C language.

- Working with final project (8h)
Examination
Evaluation from classes (general evaluation)
- Evaluation from tutorials (100%)
Evaluation from tutorials
- Project: practical project with Arduino (or othe platform) application. To complete the course the student must propose and build a working system based on a microcontroller. The project should be described in the report (documentation). Evaluated elements:
- Originality of the project (20%),
- Contribution to the implementation of the project (35%),
- Accuracy in preparing the project (25%),
- Accuracy in preparing the report (20%).
